History Of The School

Petropolis Pet Center opened its doors in 1988.  We continue to offer St. Louis pet guardians the best in pet care in a state-of-the art facility.  Our 22,000 square foot complex, located in Chesterfield, Missouri, is the first of its kind in the country. It brings together “Under One Woof” the many needs of household pets and pet guardians. Petropolis proudly offers:

The Petropolis Academy of Pet Grooming began training future pet groomers in 1993.  Our  Training Division was added in 2006. Petropolis’ instructors are the best in the business. The Academy is certified to operate by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education. We are also approved as an International Society of Canine Cosmetologists Certified Pet Styling School. We are also a member of the Missouri Association of Private Career Schools.
